A lot more children ran this year too, which helped to make it an incredible event.”

“We would like to thank the community for supporting this wonderful event, including the runners, sponsors, residents along the route and the more than 75 volunteers that helped make this event successful. We especially want to recognize the outstanding support and assistance was given by the Port Washington, Nassau County Police and Sands Point Police Departments, the Port Washington paramedics, and the Villages of Manorhaven, Port Washington North and Sands Point,” said Ziev. “The proceeds of the run will go directly to support - the people of Port - through our partner charitable organizations.”
