Karmacue

Alper’s annual Karmacue benefiting the Community Chest will take place outside Port’s oldest store on Irma Avenue (off of Main Street).  Come on down for this unique community event with great food and music and featuring the cook-off at Karmacue. Hosted by Alper’s Hardware and with contributions from residents, restaurants, vendors and the Town of North Hempstead, all of Karmacue’s profits go to benefit the Community Chest of Port Washington.   

The central event at Karmacue is the Cook-Off, where one local, amateur BBQ team will be named Port Washington’s BBQ Champ. The Cook-Off has grown in popularity and status since Karmacue’s inception and the competition gets stiffer every year. To participate in Karmacue, please e-mail Adam Novick at alpersevents@gmail.com.
