Annual Kayak Run on Manhasset Bay
The Community Chest of Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead invite you to take part in the annual Paddle for Port kayak run on Saturday, July 25 at 10:00 AM. This family-friendly fundraiser invites participants to launch from the North Hempstead Town Dock or Manorhaven boat ramp for a leisurely paddle around scenic Manhasset Bay—all in support of local charities serving Port Washington residents.
Kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes are all welcome. Don’t have your own gear? No problem—discounted kayak rentals are available at Kostal Paddle (158 Manorhaven Blvd.). Call Kostal Paddle at (516) 262-3775 or visit them at kostalpaddle.com for more details.
Stick around after the paddle for a raffle drawing of a brand-new kayak, held at the Town Dock to close out the event.
🎟 Entry Fees
Adults (21+): $35 in advance / $50 on the day of the event – Online registration closes at 11:59 PM July 24.
Youth (under 21): $20 in advance / $30 on the day of the event – Online registration closes at 11:59 PM on July 24.

Registration includes entry into the CCPW Paddle for Port, Kayak Run for Charity and supports Community Chest’s mission to strengthen and serve the Port Washington community.
